Trailblazing Aus­tralian hon­oured in ex­hi­bi­tion

THE works, pas­sions and legacy of famed Aus­tralian writer, poet and ac­tivist Ju­dith Wright are be­ing cel­e­brated in a unique and thought-pro­vok­ing ex­hi­bi­tion at the John Mullins Me­mo­rial Art Gallery at Dog­wood Cross­ing, Miles.

Artist Fiona Raf­ferty said that she was in­spired to cre­ate a body of work to com­mem­o­rate Ju­dith Wright when she spent five months liv­ing at Calan­the, Ju­dith Wright’s for­mer home on Tam­borine Moun­tain.

The ex­hi­bi­tion is open un­til Septem­ber 19.
