Chin­chilla Golf Club

LAST Sun­day 14 golfers played a sin­gle stable­ford. The win­ner was Paul Rose with 40 points OCB to the run­ner-up Nathan Braden. Pin shots went to 5/14 and 7/16 Paul Rose.

This Sun­day is the Dalby Open Car­ni­val and Ch­ester­field Shield. We need as many mem­bers as pos­si­ble to travel to Dalby to com­pete in this event. At home is the monthly mug and medal with tee-off start­ing at 11am. next two games 15–3, 15–9. Te­neale was able to claw her way back into the match win­ning the next two games 15–9, 15–13 and take the match 3–2, 57–60.

Pluto de­feated Saturn 18–7. Ian Wol­ski (L2) and Rus­sell Wood had great ral­lies through­out their match, with Ian slowly edg­ing ahead in the first game to win 15–13. Rus­sell was able to force the sec­ond game long, which he won 17–14. Ian was able to take con­trol of the ral­lies through his deft drop shots, al­low­ing him to win the next two games 15–10, 15–9 and take the match 3–1, 59–49.

Mer­cury de­feated Venus 14–12. Dar­ren Rogers (L6) had to use all of his skill to out­play Ty Ross to win the first two games 17–15, 17–15. Ty was able to main­tain the pres­sure out-ma­noeu­vring Dar­ren to win the next two games 15–10, 15–13. Dar­ren was able to re­group dur­ing the fifth game to win 15–13 and take the match 3–2, 72–73.
