Annual Brigalow ball
THE Brigalow Public Hall Committee formally invites you to the annual licenced ball.
They will serve a sumptuous supper and specially brewed coffee for attendees. There will also be raffles and prizes throughout the night.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Chinchilla Cancer Council. Admission is $12 for adults, $8 for school students, with free entrance for children under 12 years of age.

Day out with Dad
ENJOY a fun filled day out with dad this Saturday, with lots of activities for the whole family. There will be a free barbecue lunch, $5 clay shooting for 11- to 15-year olds, team planks races, craft and rope activities and much more. The local fireys will also be joining for a special visit.

MAKE your way to Brigalow this weekend for a two-day motocross extravaganza. Some of the best riders from Queensland and beyond will be coming to take part in the MX competition.
This weekend’s event is the third round for junior and senior star riders. Around 400 riders will come out for what is set to be the biggest motocross event in Queensland. Tickets are available at the event. WHEN: Saturday and Sunday, March 24-25.
WHERE: Brigalow Recreation Grounds.
NOW in it’s second year, the photo challenge is run in conjunction with the Wandoan Show Society as a way to highlight the region.
There are two categories you can enter, people and places, with $300 worth of prizes up for grabs.
The competition is open to anybody with a special category for locals aged 15 to 25, and children up to Year 10.
To be eligible, your photo must be taken within 50km of the Wandoan district and taken after March 31, 2017.
Submissions are open until Wednesday, April 4.
