Chinchilla News - - LIFE -

Hello everyone, I hope that the week has treated you well?

No meeting was held last week but, instead, we held our monthly board meeting.

I believe a lot of business was discussed at the meeting but something to take note of is the Rotary Bowel Scan Kits will be available at both of the pharmacies in Chinchilla from late April.

Bowel cancer is a very prevalent disease and we encourage you to purchase these kits.

As promised, I have an update for you from Probus which held its annual general meeting recently.

I am happy to advise the new president is Bill Pendergast, newly elected secretary is John Schultz and Jenny Bunting is treasurer.

We are sure you will have a great year and that Probus will continue to grow under your leadership.

No doubt the club has lots planned for the year and I will give you, our readers further updates on the club from time to time.

Our next club social evening will be at the Chinese restaurant on Chinchilla St on April 3. Everyone is welcome to attend and we usually start the evening around 6pm.

We hope to see you there as you would be most welcome.

I will say goodbye for now but please stay safe on the roads and enjoy a very happy and blessed Easter.

We will talk again next week until then take care and I hope the Easter bunny finds you, too.
