System improvement

Chinchilla News - - NEWS | OPINION -

THE media, lawyers and a “sympathetic” public have gotten together to take over the work of the police.

There has been a barrage of criticism from these groups every time the police are complained about.

Maybe we don’t need the police to deal with criminals.

Instead, they could be better employed in revenue raising, eg, speeding fines and other simple law breakers.

But a better system needs to be found for penalty recoveries.

State and national debt has increased to billions of dollars, and steadily climbing: credit card and bank debt is freely given out, often with little hope of payment.
