Riversands hosts a real Easter classic

THE RIVERSANDS Easter in the Vines 2018 was a raging success last weekend, with locals and visitors descending on the celebrated winery for two days of relaxed festivities.

Visitors were rewarded with free entry to the winery for a family fun day of wine tasting with plenty on offer to enjoy a laid back Saturday and Sunday over the long Easter break.

As is custom with the annual event, attendees were treated to a country music performance that contributed to the festive atmosphere.

This year’s artists were Billie Bridge and Rebecca Lee Nye who played a range of music to keep families entertained through the morning and afternoon.

Owner and Director of Riversands Wines, David Blacket, was impressed with the high turnout at the winery.

“The day was a great success” he said.

“We had a crowd of upwards of 200 people on the Saturday and more than 100 on the Sunday.”
