Go the Bulldogs!
The Chinchilla Bulldogs have their first home game of the season this Sunday against the Mitchell Magpies.
Make sure you come on down to cheer on the boys in action.
The players have been working hard all pre-season, with the fruits of their labour on show in last week’s solid wins over St George and taking home the Terry Charles Shield last month.
WHEN: Sunday, April 15. U18s at 12.15pm, Reserve grade at 1.30pm and A grade at 3pm. WHERE: Bulldog Park.
Big polocrosse weekend
THE major polocrosse event of the playing season leading up to the state championships is on this weekend.
You will have a chance to see the junior selection trials and a multi-horse carnival.
The New Zealand team will also be visiting.
With the canteen open all weekend, you can grab some lunch and make it a great day out for the family.
WHEN: Saturday, April 14 - Sunday, April 15, from 8am. WHERE: Chinchilla Polocrosse Grounds. COST: $10 for adults.
Get down to the markets
THE monthly Chinchilla markets are on this weekend.
Head over to check out the local produce, grab a bite to eat and soak up the community atmosphere. WHEN: Sunday, April 15. WHERE: Chinchilla Showgrounds.

VISIT the Kogan Creek Power Station viewing platform to see two beautiful sculptures along the Hugh Sawrey Walkway.
While you’re there, you can also visit the historic Kogan Hotel and admire the art display at Kogan Community Hall.
Great place to go visit with the family during school holidays.
