Go the Bull­dogs!

The Chin­chilla Bull­dogs have their first home game of the sea­son this Sun­day against the Mitchell Mag­pies.

Make sure you come on down to cheer on the boys in ac­tion.

The play­ers have been working hard all pre-sea­son, with the fruits of their labour on show in last week’s solid wins over St Ge­orge and tak­ing home the Terry Charles Shield last month.

WHEN: Sun­day, April 15. U18s at 12.15pm, Re­serve grade at 1.30pm and A grade at 3pm. WHERE: Bull­dog Park.

Big polocrosse week­end

THE ma­jor polocrosse event of the play­ing sea­son lead­ing up to the state cham­pi­onships is on this week­end.

You will have a chance to see the ju­nior se­lec­tion tri­als and a multi-horse car­ni­val.

The New Zealand team will also be vis­it­ing.

With the can­teen open all week­end, you can grab some lunch and make it a great day out for the fam­ily.

WHEN: Satur­day, April 14 - Sun­day, April 15, from 8am. WHERE: Chin­chilla Polocrosse Grounds. COST: $10 for adults.

Get down to the mar­kets

THE monthly Chin­chilla mar­kets are on this week­end.

Head over to check out the lo­cal pro­duce, grab a bite to eat and soak up the com­mu­nity at­mos­phere. WHEN: Sun­day, April 15. WHERE: Chin­chilla Show­grounds.

VISIT the Ko­gan Creek Power Sta­tion view­ing plat­form to see two beau­ti­ful sculp­tures along the Hugh Sawrey Walk­way.

While you’re there, you can also visit the his­toric Ko­gan Ho­tel and ad­mire the art dis­play at Ko­gan Com­mu­nity Hall.

Great place to go visit with the fam­ily dur­ing school hol­i­days.
