Classic Ford - - CONTENTS -

From: South Africa Car: Mk3 Cortina “I bought the Cortina from an elderly gentleman, and I am the second owner,” says Neville. “When we received the car it was in a bad state as it stood outside and the elements got the worst of it.The vinyl top was damaged so we opted to do away with it. We decided to do a full restoration. We managed to match the original colour, the interior was stripped out and we opted for genuine leather.”

“The car was automatic so we decided to convert to manual, and it now has a five-speed gearbox — the engine was untouched, we just replaced the valve covers and air filter.

“All the work was done entirely by my family and I, with many late nights and tonnes of hours. We are very proud of our achievement, and I would like to thank my wife and kids for all their support.”
