RARE AND DESIRABLE
THE RIGHT ACCESSORIES
As if the black paint wasn’t rare enough, look closer and you will spot a number of things that are super-rare and desirable. Take those gorgeous deep-dish alloy Globe Sprintmaster rims, originally made for the Globe racing Mk1 Escort, they are an über-rare racing set measuring 6x13 with huge offset. Did you see the alloy brake air ducts poking out from under the front? You can’t get these anymore. These are handmade reproductions made from original scoops fitted to a very rare GT500 Bathurst edition Cortina. Inside, the rarest part must be the AM radio. It’s a special-order item that Jamie has spent years looking for, and now he has now got two. This one works and still gets reception and the odd country horse race broadcast.
Period Ford radio includes markings for state-specific Aussie stations. Great for Canberra, probably not so good for Croydon...
