Juliet a future

Cockburn Gazette - - STREET WATCH -

AN East Fremantle teenager has been slated as one of WA’s future leaders.

Juliet Morris, a Year 10 student at All Saints’ College, was one of 30 high schoolers from around the State recently chosen for the 2017 Sir Charles Court Young Leaders Program.

Juliet said she was eager to grow as a leader through the program, which aims to build their skills in leadership, self-awareness, teamwork and problem solving.

“My empathy, communication and teamwork skills have enabled me to become a leader among my peers,” she said. “My previous experience in different roles has helped improve the leader I am today.”

Juliet will take part in a four-day leadership camp in April and is eligible for the Sir Charles Court Leadership Award, which gives the winner $3000 towards an undergraduate degree at Curtin University.
