DILLA Suhadji and Sharin At­tamimi are fight­ing to end poverty and so­cial in­jus­tice with mu­sic.

The mu­si­cians are busk­ing in Fre­man­tle and Perth for a month as part of Ox­fam Aus­tralia's OXJAM fundraiser and in do­ing so are play­ing a part in tack­ling global poverty.

Ms At­tamimi said it was im­por­tant for her to do her bit to help pro­vide com­mu­ni­ties in need with clean wa­ter, health­care and ed­u­ca­tion.

“Mu­sic is one way we love to give back to help change the lives of those around us,” she said.

Ox­fam's Paddy Cullen said poverty was a big global issue but OXJAM was one way lo­cals could have an im­pact while en­joy­ing some good mu­sic.
