JAM FOR POVERTY
DILLA Suhadji and Sharin Attamimi are fighting to end poverty and social injustice with music.
The musicians are busking in Fremantle and Perth for a month as part of Oxfam Australia's OXJAM fundraiser and in doing so are playing a part in tackling global poverty.
Ms Attamimi said it was important for her to do her bit to help provide communities in need with clean water, healthcare and education.
“Music is one way we love to give back to help change the lives of those around us,” she said.
Oxfam's Paddy Cullen said poverty was a big global issue but OXJAM was one way locals could have an impact while enjoying some good music.
