Gang Crime Squad de­tec­tives are ap­peal­ing for in­for­ma­tion to as­sist with their in­ves­ti­ga­tion into a fire at a tat­too par­lour in Bea­cons­field on Wed­nes­day, May 9.

Po­lice said that just af­ter 1am, three peo­ple smashed a hole in the front win­dow of the tat­too par­lour on South Street. They threw ac­cel­er­ant through the hole and set it alight. The fire caused ex­ten­sive dam­age to the build­ing.

De­tec­tives would like to speak to any­one who lives in the area or was in the area who has dash cam footage, or who may have seen any sus­pi­cious peo­ple, ve­hi­cles or ac­tiv­ity in the area at the time of the fire.

Re­gional in­ves­ti­ga­tion unit of­fi­cers are at­tempt­ing to lo­cate the own­ers of prop­erty seized dur­ing a search war­rant at a house in Fre­man­tle on Wed­nes­day, May 16.

The ■ male pic­tured be­low may be able to as­sist po­lice in­quiries in re­la­tion to a steal­ing in­ci­dent that oc­curred in the Fre­man­tle Cen­tral Busi­ness District on Sun­day May 20.

The male is de­scribed as dark skinned, be­tween 50-60 years of age, slim build, long messy black hair, had a fern leaf tat­too un­der his left eye and was wear­ing a black fleece jacket, blue jeans and white run­ners at the time of the in­ci­dent.
