Cockburn Gazette - - RESIDENTIAL -

HOMEBUYERS are invited to attend an information session on Nightingale Fremantle this week.

The Nightingale housing model – a housing revolution aiming to construct multi-residential buildings that are financially, socially and environmentally sustainable – was launched in Perth in June.

It is the first Nightingale building outside Melbourne and is spearheaded by EHDO Architecture and Fini Sustainability.

Set to be built on the corner of Wood and Blinco streets in the Knutsford precinct, it will feature 15 apartments with shared amenities, including a communal laundry and rooftop garden, as well as two ground-floor commercial spaces.

The apartments will achieve a 9.5 star NatHERS rating, well above the minimum requirement of six stars.

The information session will examine key aspects of the project including the design, apartment costs and strata fees, Nightingale community and Knutsford precinct.

The event at Stackwood Studios, 10 Stack Street, Fremantle starts at 5pm on October 11.
