Improvement in response times
A NEW drive-on dock has been installed at Port Coogee to give a new marina boat faster responses to emergencies. The boat was first launched on October 17 and will be used to patrol the waters around the marina as an emergency response vehicle. City of Cockburn marina manager Samantha Standish said the 6x3m dock was a safe and effective on-water berth for the boat. She said the boat could be deployed “in a matter of minutes”.
