LAND in Hope Valley is part of a $290 million release of land in WA for development by LandCorp and the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority.

The state-wide release is expected to support up to 12,000 jobs in coming years and will help drive significant economic growth.

“When fully developed, these opportunities represent an injection of $1.3 billion into our local economy and will deliver 12,000 jobs,” LandCorp chief executive Frank Marra said.

Land will be released in the City of Kwinana at Flinders Precinct to create a business focal point and industrial estate. Eighteen new industrial lots will be released, including five industrial lots providing for uses such as eateries, gyms and other service outlets.

Flinders Precinct is the first site to be developed in the Latitude 32 Industry Zone, which is part of the Western Trade Coast.

The development has links to key infrastructure such as the Australian Marine Complex in Henderson, Kwinana and Rockingham industrial areas, Fremantle Port, freight rail lines and the Kwinana Freeway.

Mr Marra said Flinders Precinct was helping to drive economic growth by delivering quality industrial lots.
