BEST FOR… SAILING
Signs in braille, lifts between decks and vibrator pads fitted to bunks to alert people who are hard of hearing if there is an emergency are just some of the features the Jubilee Trust’s accessible sailing boats have been kitted out with. They run trips on the only two tall ships in the world to have been built specifically to enable people of all physical abilities to take an active role in sailing. Their day trips and month-long voyages depart from ports in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. You can even take part in a tall ship race from Denmark to Norway.
