Collective Hub - - CONTENTS -

It’s ironic and, in many ways, perfect that long before we knew Issue 52 of Collective Hub would be our last, we decided to theme this special edition of the magazine around the topic of money – how to ask for it, how to make peace with it, and how to step into a life of abundance. Wow, is THIS a topic we need to explore as a community!

Sex, politics, money and religion – traditionally, it’s rude to talk about any of these in public.

Well, it’s time for us to break the rules AGAIN. In this issue, we go DEEP inside money matters, with a few home truths about the commodity that can make us or break us – if we let it.

Firstly, I have to say a HUGE thank you to our interviewees in this issue who were willing to talk about this subject so honestly: Melanie Perkins, the cofounder of Canva, who discusses how it feels to head Australia’s latest unicorn; the guys behind TransferWise who reveal the extreme measures they took to break America; and my dear friend Mandi Gunsberger, who talks about the emotional upheaval of selling her company. We also reveal the downsides of being a start-up unicorn and offer a cheat’s guide to cryptocurrency.

Fittingly for this time in my life, we also delve into the topic of resilience with an article on how technology is helping teenagers to deal with mental hurdles, and lessons (from the animal kingdom) on why the easy path isn’t always the best path. Plus, Collective Hub’s amazing editor, Amy, takes us inside her new book. The topic? How to overcome adversity, joyfully.

A huge thank you to every contributor, writer, photographer, start-up and brand partner who enabled us to make this issue our very best yet. I hope it’s one you keep forever for prosperity!

Our wonderful, loyal subscribers – we will have by now communicated to you about what’s next. Thank you for your ongoing love.
