Comic Heroes - - Feature -

The man Brian Michael Bendis specifically asked for as colourist on his run on The Avengers, D’Armata made his comics debut at Top Cow before becoming one of Marvel’s top colourists. His impressive CV includes House Of M, Original Sin, Uncanny X-Men and Captain America. Frankie D’Armata says: “I wanted to do a semi-classic fireball explosion, with a little action, and use some nontraditional colours for the costume to get away from the yellow, red and blue; something a little more in tune with the times. And relatively simple rendering, so as not to overwork it.”
