Doctor Who

Comic Heroes - - Interview -

You’ve just finished writing Titan’s Four Doctors crossover, correct?

“Actually, I just did a little tweak to two last pages on the last issue tonight, and that should be it. I think Neil finishes drawing it on Monday, so there we are. It’s a lovely feeling.”

How was Titan’s Doctor Who day yesterday?

“It was brilliant. I signed 1,000 copies of the Marc Ellerby variant [of The Four Doctors #1]. Marc had to change his signature halfway through when he realised the size of the task in front of him! It was nice to be part of something so global. I did three events in London in a day. Just an amazing thing.”

You’re now one of the few people to write officially for the War Doctor...

“He’s only in the first six pages, the prologue in the first issue, but it was interesting. One has to think of things that are John Hurt-ish because there’s a smaller range of material to draw from. I’ve got him saying ‘lads’, which I can hear John Hurt saying but can’t really imagine any of the other Doctors saying.”
