Kilt run a leg-up for headspace service
HEADSPACE will get a helping hand from the coming Perth Kilt Run.
It’s one of three local charities including the Amanda Young Foundation and the Intensive Care Foundation set to receive the proceeds from event registrations.
Headspace Armadale manager Annette Chivers said the Perth Kilt Run represents a great community event for headspace to be involved in.
“Physical activity is fantastic for mental health, and we encourage our clients to stay active and connected with their community. Perth Kilt Run checks both these boxes,” Ms Chivers said.
The Armadale premises have been open for two years and help a variety of clients between 12 and 25 with mental health, work and study services, medical assistance through an in-house doctor, and drug and alcohol support.
To register for the Perth Kilt Run, head to perthkiltrun.com.au before noon on September 9.
