XAVIER Catholic Primary School believes children are precious and unique individuals made in the image and likeness of God.

This belief drives the school’s philosophy that a child’s opportunity to learn must be respected and valued at all times.

The staff at Xavier use teaching and learning strategies that align with a developmental approach.

They respect and value that children learn in different ways and learning expectations and opportunities may need to be modified at different stages of development.

Teachers spend time getting to know students well and identifying their particular strengths.

Xavier believes that educating the heart of each individual is the way to help develop citizens of the future who are able to successfully take their place in the profoundly changing global world.

Families are encouraged to get involved, to support whole school policies, join in class and community functions and are invited to assist in classrooms when required.
