WANT to do something charitable while nabbing a stunning beachside lifestyle for your family?
Yes, it’s that time of the year again when Telethon throws open the doors to its latest fundraising home, which is in Jindalee in Perth’s north.
The 2017 Eden Beach Telethon Home is the 12th built by JWH Group’s In-Vogue and started welcoming visitors last Saturday, well ahead of its auction on October 22.
Last year’s Telethon Home, which was also in Eden Beach estate, was sold off successfully for $750,000 to a Perth fatherdaughter duo on Telethon weekend.
This year’s custom-designed two-storey residence takes full advantage of its location with an “upside-down” floor plan that offers impressive coastal views from the first floor and master suite.
In-Vogue general manager Jim Ilias said the design team had once again surpassed expectation.
A standout feature of the home is the breathtaking open-tread steel-spine staircase with glass balustrade, and a fullheight tiled wall which leads to the upper-floor living area.
“The upstairs kitchen with scullery overlooks the openplan living and dining and leads to a large balcony from which to take in the views to the nearby park and ocean, never to be built out,” Mr Ilias said.
Completing the upper floor is the huge master bedroom with dressing room and ensuite featuring a freestanding bath.
There is an impressive 395sq m of living area across the two levels, which means there are flexible family spaces on the ground floor as well.
Past the double-door entry there is a private home theatre, office, activity area with kitchenette that leads out to the alfresco zone, the three minor bedrooms and the family bathroom.
Satterley Property Group, Ocean Springs Pty Ltd and Eden Beach Estate’s fellow development partners donated the 423sq m corner block on which the home stands, 600m from the foreshore reserve and 800m to the water’s edge.
The 2017 Eden Beach Telethon Home at 4 Emmae Way, Jindalee, is open every Saturday and Sunday, 1pm-5pm, and Mondays and Wednesdays, 2pm-5pm, until auction day.
