A YOUNG Seville Grove woman has been nominated in the 2017 WA Youth Awards.

Courtney Marie Fare is a youth worker with one of Perth’s well-known CARE (Curriculum and Re-Engagement) schools, St Francis’ School, and is a finalist in this year’s Youth Awards.

This year alone, Ms Fare has led and supported successful social and emotional wellbeing programs with positive outcomes across CARE schools.

She has been nominated for the Minister for Youth’s Most Outstanding Youth Worker Award.

The WA Youth Awards showcase the achievements and contributions of young West Australians aged 12 to 25, as well as the organisations and people who work with and support them.

“The calibre of finalists in this year’s WA Youth Awards is truly outstanding,” Youth Minister Peter Tinley said.

“These young people are representative of the diversity of WA’s young people and the ways in which they contribute to building vibrant communities.”
