TWO 70th birthdays were celebrated in a slightly unusual place. A small crowd gathered at Gosnells’ Seaforth Train Station to enjoy some locally made cupcakes and celebrate the station’s milestone birthday. The station was officially opened in 1948 and, along with Beckenham, Challis and Sherwood, was one of the final stations to be built along the Gosnells/Armadale section of the track. Among the celebrating patrons were Southern River MLA Terry Healy and his mother Rosie, who also celebrates her 70th birthday this year.
