IN response to a previous letter from Michael Coster, of Thornlie, regarding his criticism of Chris Tallentire, may I suggest the following.

Now that he is retired I am sure that he would have the time to visit Chris at his office in Thornlie when he is available. After all, he is a Member of Parliament which requires regular attendance.

What Chris has done for his electorate over the past years has made him a respected member who can be relied on.

The writer mentioned that he had never met the member. However, there was an opportunity to do so when Thornlie residents in particular were invited to the football club to discuss the NBN Thornlie extension and other issues. IAN JOHNSTON, Gosnells.
