FAM­I­LIES will soon be able to en­joy up­graded play­grounds across the City of Ar­madale.

New play equip­ment is be­ing in­stalled at Ber­nice Har­grave Re­serve play­ground at the cor­ner of West­field Road and Gras­mere Way in Kelmscott.

Young­sters can look for­ward to en­hanced tim­ber forts and con­crete tun­nels, nat­u­ral bal­ance logs and step­pers, and an in­for­mal scooter track for younger ones.

Mayor Henry Zelones said nat­u­ral el­e­ments of the area will be pre­served, with ex­ist­ing trees re­tained for shade.

Kuhl Park in Camillo, Joe Saun­ders play­ground in Cham­pion Lakes, Lions Park in Ar­madale, and Pat­ter­son Park will also have play­ground up­grades as part of the City’s on­go­ing Pub­lic Open Space Strat­egy.
