ANZAC DAY SERVICES
ANZAC Day services will run next week in the Cities of Gosnells and Armadale and the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale.
The Gosnells event will start with a parade at 6.30am, from the Coles carpark on Albany Highway for a short march to the City’s Civic Centre.
The service will begin at 7am in the Civic Centre Gardens at the war memorial.
There will be a march for ex-servicemen and women marching at 5.30am from the Armadale RSL Clubrooms to the Memorial Park on Jull Street for the Dawn Service.
A gunfire breakfast will be held afterwards at the RSL Clubrooms for $10 per person.
The Kelmscott/Roleystone RSL will be holding services at 6am and 3pm at Rushton Park, followed by morning tea and afternoon tea respectively.
The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale will hold two services to commemorate the day.
The dawn service will commence at 5.45am at Anzac Crescent Memorial Park in Byford.
Following the service, the Oakford Volunteer Bushfire Brigade will serve a traditional gunfire breakfast.
A processional march will start at Gallipoli Avenue at 8.30 am, leading into a commemorative service at ANZAC Crescent Memorial Park at 9am and followed by morning tea.
