Boys charged over soccer scare
THREE boys will face court again after allegedly terrorising locals at junior soccer games last weekend.
The trio appeared in Perth Children’s Court yesterday, with a 12year-old next due to appear on June 6 and two 13-year-olds due to appear on July 10.
The children were charged after allegedly riding a motorcycle on to an Armadale oval during sports matches yesterday and brandishing a knife. Police allege that about 10.15am, the boys rode a red motorcycle at speed on to Morgan Park.
At one point, the boys allegedly rode the motorcycle near a spectator, stealing her bag.
As they attempted to leave witnesses tried to apprehend the boys, during which one of the boys allegedly produced a large knife and threatened witnesses.
The 13-year-old boy from Brookdale, 12-year-old boy from Armadale and 13-year-old boy from Armadale have been charged with offences, including stealing a motor vehicle and aggravated armed robbery.
