The Mil­lion­aires' Party en­ticed the Fair Work­ers Com­mis­sion to agree to cuts to Sun­day, pub­lic hol­i­day and late night penalty rates, which will be­gin next month.

You know what, peo­ple, do you hon­estly think all that will get you a cheaper cup of cof­fee in Thorn­lie?

Well per­haps at the Pizza Cafe, not far from where Jon, Garfield and Odie live.

And do you re­ally think that new busi­nesses will sprout now that the min­ing boom has busted up and FIFO work­ers hav­ing made tracks back over east?

The work­ers that de­pend on bonuses for unso­cial work­ing hours to break even will be spend­ing less and the fat cats, in­clud­ing Stimpy, as usual will lock up their wealth or ex­port it over­seas in tax havens.

Speak­ing of Aladdin's Cave. GERALD JEEVARATNAM. Thorn­lie. cross­ings a short dis­tance away in Gos­nells that suf­fer the same de­lays, with trains ar­riv­ing and de­part­ing the Gos­nells sta­tion ev­ery eight to 15 min­utes on week­days.

This hap­pens at Fre­man­tle Road, Stalker Road/Main Street and Dorothy Street, as well as on Al­bany High­way at the old Stokely cross­ing in Madding­ton.

Would it not make sense to sink this en­tire sec­tion of rail line?

Gos­nells un­der­ground sta­tion could have es­ca­la­tors to the park­ing area and to the com­mer­cial strip along Al­bany High­way.

The va­cated rail re­serve could be used for ad­di­tional park­ing for travel THERE should be a thor­ough in­ves­ti­ga­tion into why the cases against the Le broth­ers col­lapsed af­ter they were hit with un­sus­tain­able charges about al­legedly il­le­gal work­ers.

This harks back to the Phillip Rud­dock days when he threat­ened to dis­rupt all busi­nesses which did not de­mand proof of en­ti­tle­ment to work, with a harsh re­sult of forc­ing peo­ple born in Aus­tralia to ob­tain pass­ports just to have some proof of en­ti­tle­ment to work.
