WA Po­lice are seek­ing in­for­ma­tion about two sep­a­rate road in­ci­dents in­volv­ing a black Mercedes Benz in Gos­nells on Tues­day, July 18.

About 5.50pm, po­lice were called to a crash at the Tonkin High­way and Al­bany High­way in­ter­sec­tion. A Mercedes Benz, driv­ing east on Tonkin High­way, came into con­tact with a Honda CR-V, caus­ing the Honda to spin and come to rest on the me­dian strip.

The car then ap­peared to hit a Holden Cruze be­fore the Mercedes struck a bar­rier and stopped, catch­ing fire. Mem­bers of the pub­lic re­moved the driver from the burn­ing ve­hi­cle and held him un­til po­lice ar­rived.

While in­ves­ti­gat­ing this crash, of­fi­cers be­came aware of an ear­lier in­ci­dent in­volv­ing a black Mercedes Benz on Tonkin High­way.

In that in­ci­dent, the Mercedes Benz hit an­other ve­hi­cle near the in­ter­sec­tion of Ran­ford Road.

Any­one with in­for­ma­tion about this crash, or any in­ci­dents on Tonkin High­way be­tween 5.30pm and 5.50pm in­volv­ing a black Mercedes Benz, should con­tact po­lice.
