A 33-YEAR-OLD Kelmscott man was taken to hospital after he crashed his vehicle into a tree on Brookton Highway.
Around 11.20pm on Thursday, October 5, police attempted to stop a blue Mitsubishi Magna on Digby Street in Gosnells.
The driver failed to stop and evaded police through suburbs and on to Brookton Highway, with Police Air wing assisting.
It is alleged the vehicle was travelling at excessive speed through Ashendon near Flint when it failed to negotiate a bend, losing control and crashing into the tree.
The driver, who was the only occupant, sustained serious, non-life threatening injuries.
