CITY of Gosnells’ popular Ghost Walks event is returning for a brand new season.

Guided tours in the scenic Orange Grove hills allow groups to soak in tales about the roaming spirits of pioneer timber mill workers who lived in the district in the 1860s.

The first, a 5.5.km walk from Victoria Dam to the Bickley Reserve, is on November 3.

City of Gosnells local history library assistant Margaret Lefevre has been instrumental to Ghost Walks’ success and said the walk provided participants with stunning views of Perth.

“Ghost Walks can be enjoyed by the whole family, and they are an entertaining way to learn about local history and pioneer characters in a beautiful setting,” she said.

Bookings essential. The City will host other walks on December 1, February 2 and March 2.
