THE Com­ment News area is home to three of Perth’s most af­ford­able sub­urbs, ac­cord­ing to the lat­est data from REIWA.

Armadale placed second on the list of the 10 most af­ford­able sub­urbs by me­dian house price for the year to March 2018.

It recorded a me­dian house price of $250,000, a 12.9 per cent de­crease from the pre­vi­ous year.

Camillo was ranked third while Madding­ton was eighth.

Th­ese sub­urbs also saw their me­dian house prices de­cline in the past 12 months.

Me­d­ina was Perth’s most af­ford­able sub­urb, with a me­dian house price of $238,000.

Prop­er­ties sold fastest in Leda, with an av­er­age of 61 days on the mar­ket, and it was the only sub­urb on the list to record an in­crease in the me­dian house price.

It rose 5.3 per cent to $316,000 in the 12 months to March 2018.

Other sub­urbs to make the top 10 were Parmelia, Hill­man, Cooloongup and Ore­lia.
