CONSTRUCTION of the Rossiter Pavilion and playing field in Piara Waters is complete and it now needs local clubs and community groups to call it home.

The City of Armadale is inviting local sporting clubs, community groups and businesses to register their interest to be based at the new ground.

“The community hub situated on Tuberose Road in Piara Waters hosts a playing field, playground and a large pavilion for sports and community use,” Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones said.

“The pavilion includes a large main hall, multi-purpose room, meeting room and a clubroom with canteen facilities.

“Some of the activities that we are hoping to attract include sporting clubs, baby, toddler and children’s groups and activities, health and wellbeing classes, and family support service providers.”

Interested users can contact the City’s sport and recreation co-ordinator on 9394 5000.

The deadline for expressions of interest is June 29.
