CLIENT:

Some­One was tasked with de­vis­ing a wholly orig­i­nal strate­gic and vis­ual brand iden­tity for online glasses re­tailer Glasses Di­rect that spanned the en­tire cus­tomer jour­ney from dig­i­tally re­spon­sive site to de­liv­ery pack­ag­ing, and al­lo­cated bud­get ac­cord­ingly. Film­maker Si­mon War­ren was com­mis­sioned to cre­ate a se­ries of an­i­mated GIFs that bring a lively lifestyle feel to the site. The deft use of orig­i­nal type­face Austin by Paul Barnes, which was orig­i­nally cre­ated for Harpers & Queen, as well as a cus­tom word­mark based on the type­face Por­trait by Ber­ton Hasebe, adds to the lifestyle ed­i­to­rial theme Some­One de­liv­ered.
