Con­fec­tionary maker Cloetta wanted to make its new colour­less liquorice allsorts stand out from the com­pe­ti­tion. Two years pre­vi­ously, Bond had given the sweet treats a mini facelift – this time, the cre­ative agency was asked to de­sign a new, black-and-white ver­sion to high­light their new recipe.

“The con­cept fol­lows our orig­i­nal Allsorts de­sign lan­guage,” says Bond cre­ative Marko Salo­nen. “It show­cases the con­tent with sim­pli­fied and bold graphic el­e­ments and colours, us­ing two dif­fer­ent var­nishes for fin­ish­ing. The most chal­leng­ing part of the project was to get the pack­ag­ing unit price as low as pos­si­ble for the mass mar­ket.”
