“Cre­ate video con­tent that doesn’t have a re­quire­ment for au­dio, ei­ther through sub­ti­tling or hav­ing sim­ple cap­tions that help il­lus­trate what is hap­pen­ing,” says Glenwright. “Buz­zfeed’s ‘Tasty’ video recipes are a great ex­am­ple.”

06 BUY AN EX­TER­NAL MIC

You can sig­nif­i­cantly up the pro­duc­tion qual­ity of your video with qual­ity au­dio us­ing an ex­ter­nal mic, or a shot­gun mic.

07 DON’T NE­GLECT YOUR VIDEO’S COVER IM­AGE

Cre­ate an en­gag­ing cus­tom poster im­age for ev­ery video, but make sure it ac­cu­rately re­flects the con­tent of the video.
