Waves Abbey Road Chambers
Want to run your sounds through the hallowed echo chambers of Abbey Road? Cancel that studio reservation, as Waves have popped out a plugin virtualisation of the Studio Two chamber used “on countless classic recordings by the Beatles and beyond.” The original setup of Neumann K53 mics and an Altec 604 speaker is represented, and to “extend the chamber’s natural sonic palette into new territories,” there’s a full recreation of Abbey Road’s S.T.E.E.D. (Send. Tape. Echo. Echo. Delay.) rig. On top of all that, you also get two bonus chambers in the form of Abbey Road’s own Mirror Room and Olympic Studios’ Stone Room. Waves Abbey Road Chambers costs $199.
