Tracktion T7 DAW

The developers of Waveform are at it again, offering the recent version of Tracktion’s T7 DAW to any and all

Computer Music - - News -

Tracktion, you’re spoiling us! In what has become something of a regular event, Tracktion has released its secondtier DAW for free. Now, don’t get us wrong – when we say ‘second-tier’, it’s only because the same developer sells another DAW called Waveform. T7 DAW should not be seen as a demo version of Waveform, however, but rather the continuation of Tracktion’s initial product line. It is in no way crippled, limited, or otherwise compromised – this is a full DAW that can go toe-to-toe with nearly any commercial product.

This new version offers some significant improvements over its predecessor. The most obvious is revealed upon launch: T7 DAW sports a slick new look. Never fear, everything is still available in a single window – it’s just easier on the eye, with a new, slimmer transport bar with buttons for easy access to useful tools. The old transport area can be expanded with a click.

Other new features include Clip layer Effects that allow you to stack multiple effects on an individual clip. There are also new automation patterns that can quickly be added to any parameter. If that’s not automatic enough, you can call on the LFO Modifiers to modulate any parameter on any plugin or channel element. Tracktion has always offered plenty to inspire, and T7 DAW ups the ante. An incredible gift. track

Behold the beauty that is Tracktion’s T7 – a free, full DAW for everyone!
