This sophisticated and heartfelt celebration was filled with lots of love and happy tears
The forecast for their wedding may have been thunderstorms, but in the end this happy couple had nothing but sunshine on their special day! And, turning tradition on its head, rather than the grooms walking up the aisle, they were waiting at the top of it as their guests arrived instead. There may have been clear skies, but dry eyes? Not so much! The heartfelt ceremony left many of the guests (the grooms’ dads, especially) emotional and wiping away happy tears. Then it was on to photos, followed by cocktails and canapés under the stars with their nearest and dearest. What a day!

STYLIST & FLOWERS Kandy Russo at What Will I Wear (whatwilliwear.com. au). “Kandy arranged our flowers for the ceremony and also styled the reception area and food service area for us.”
STATIONERY “We designed and printed our own stationery using the same shade of blue to tie in with our suits.”
CEREMONY, RECEPTION & CATERING Thistle Hill, Pokolbin, NSW (thill.com. au). “We chose the place because of the stunning grounds and natural setting. The owners, Donna and Stuart, also did the catering themselves. We held a second reception at Muse Restaurant at Hungerford Hill Winery the next day.”
CAKE Muse Restaurant (musedining. com.au). “It was a croquembouche with pistachio crème patisserie. We wanted something grand and memorable – plus we love pistachio, so it was a no-brainer!”
ENTERTAINMENT Jason Bone (genr8ent. com.au/artists/jason-bone). “He did a great job of interacting with the group! We didn’t have a ‘first dance’, but we did dance to Volare by Dean Martin.”
“Our flowers were white roses and oak leaves.” “Before our guests arrived, we had breakfast together.”
“We loved watching family and friends walk down the aisle towards us.”
“Our guests were able to stay with us and enjoy themselves over the three days.”
