What’s your favourite re­gional food des­ti­na­tion? Vic­to­ria’s Dayles­ford — I love the easy­go­ing vibe of the area and the pro­duce is out­stand­ing. There are great restau­rants and it’s a good place to be pam­pered, too. Where would you like to go next? In early spring I’m hop­ing to head up to Cen­tral Tilba, on the NSW far south coast, to visit The River Cottage Australia Cooking School, which a close friend of mine is help­ing to run. I’m look­ing for­ward to get­ting hands-on mak­ing fresh cheeses and sausages. What is your favourite coun­try drive? I love the drive through Fern­tree Gully up to Olinda and into the Dan­de­nongs in Vic­to­ria. It’s al­ways lush, green and cool on a hot sum­mer day, with lit­tle places to stop for a de­li­cious Devon­shire tea.
