What’s your favourite regional food destination? Victoria’s Daylesford — I love the easygoing vibe of the area and the produce is outstanding. There are great restaurants and it’s a good place to be pampered, too. Where would you like to go next? In early spring I’m hoping to head up to Central Tilba, on the NSW far south coast, to visit The River Cottage Australia Cooking School, which a close friend of mine is helping to run. I’m looking forward to getting hands-on making fresh cheeses and sausages. What is your favourite country drive? I love the drive through Ferntree Gully up to Olinda and into the Dandenongs in Victoria. It’s always lush, green and cool on a hot summer day, with little places to stop for a delicious Devonshire tea.
