The Coun­try Women’s As­so­ci­a­tion hall at Nash­dale has now been the venue for eight Pro­duc­ers’ Lunches — the an­nual event we host with the Or­ange Farm­ers’ Mar­ket. This much-loved event in the FOOD Week cal­en­dar saw nearly 150 peo­ple sit­ting down to share a meal. Guests en­joyed a glass of Charles Sturt NV sparkling on ar­rival and met grow­ers from the re­gion at the mar­ket out­side the hall. From Mandagery Creek veni­son to Pal­ings Yard olive oil, pro­duc­ers of many va­ri­eties fea­tured on or­gan­iser Cath Thompson’s menu — and guests had the op­por­tu­nity to buy the raw in­gre­di­ents as they left the hall. It was a great day meet­ing new friends and old in a con­vivial set­ting.
