OUR AN­NUAL Meet the Pro­duc­ers lunch at Orange FOOD Week is on again. Join Coun­try Style edi­tor-in-chief Vic­to­ria Carey and for­mer Orange Farm­ers’ Mar­ket man­ager Cath Thomp­son — who now runs her own cook­ing, cater­ing and con­cept busi­ness called Me‘n’us — at the CWA hall in Nash­dale. Lo­cal pro­duc­ers, whose ingredients will fea­ture in the menu, join to­gether to cre­ate a mini farm­ers’ mar­ket where there will be plenty of time to meet the farm­ers. Then, af­ter canapés and a drink on ar­rival, set­tle in for a two-course meal, in­clud­ing the cen­tre­piece pro­duc­ers’ plate, matched with lo­cal wines. WHEN Thurs­day, April 6th.
