THE WEATHER turned out and so did our read­ers, with a record num­ber of attt­ten­dees soak­ing up the sunny at­mos­phere of our ninth an­nual Pro­duc­ers’ Lunch at Orange FOOD Week. Upon ar­rival at Nash­dale Hall, guests sam­pled the wares of lo­cal pro­duc­ers at the small farm­ers’ mar­ket, which offf­fered a unique op­por­tu­nity to hear some of the won­der­ful sto­ries be­hind the food. In­side, the two-course lunch (with a pro­duc­ers’ plate the cen­tre­piece) was en­joyed with lo­cal wines on long ta­bles dec­o­rated with sea­sonal blooms.
