Nurs­ery owner lauded for land­care

Dow­erin nurs­ery owner and farmer Rob Boase has been named WA’s In­di­vid­ual Land­carer at the 2017 West­ern Aus­tralian Land­care Awards in Perth.

Through his nurs­ery, Arinya Plants, Mr Boase has sup­ported reveg­e­ta­tion across the Wheat­belt by cul­ti­vat­ing some of the more dif­fi­cult species, be­ing re­spon­si­ble for his own plant­ing of more than 78,000 from his nurs­ery, and has par­tic­i­pated in groups such as the Cen­tral Wheat­belt Threat­ened Flora Re­cov­ery Team, Wheat­belt NRM and the lo­cal Land­care group.
