Feedback on GM contamination sought

Countryman - - WAFARMERS -

The State Government is looking at mechanisms to be introduced that would compensate for economic loss to farmers caused by GM contamination.

WAFarmers supports farmer choice on gene technology, so the organisation needs farmers’ data and feedback to ensure its contribution reflects their information.

Contact WAFarmers grains executive officer Maddison McNeil by emailing maddisonmcneil@wafarmers.org.au or calling 9486 2100.

Have your say on GM contamination compensation:

Do you have an opinion on this? Is it essential for the market, or an overstep of the government?

Do you have any data on how you may use GM in your business?
