Cross Stitcher

We take a peek at a designer’s early ideas for one of their projects

-

Colleen, designer at The World in Stitches, describes her creative process, “First, I look at shapes and jot them down in my sketchbook. I find it helpful to just do outlines at this stage. Then I transfer my favourite outline to my design software. Any software with a trace feature is great for this. Then my original sketch is developed into the finished design. I keep my thread boxes nearby to see the how the colours I choose look next to each other.” www.etsy.com/uk/shop/theworldinstitches
