Argon might have only just broken cover in the big scene sense by sponsoring a leading pro tour team but it’s been making very well regarded bikes, particularly the E series aero/triathlon family, in Canada for years. There’s a lot of E DNA in the Nitrogen aero bike.

This E series tech includes the head-tube-extending Press-Fit Aero 3D spacer system for front-end stiffness. It’s dropped lower to the ground than most bikes for a lower overall wind profile. The seatpost can be reversed for a steeper seat angle, and the Ergonova bars can carry extension bars for time trialling.

As well as a naturally aggressive low and forward ride position the Nitrogen gets very powerful and aero flush fit TRP brakes, fashionably blunt-backed aero tube profiling and matching blunt-faced aero 3T Orbis II C35 Pro wheels.

With a punchy rather than plush ride, aggressive position and aero advantage, the Nitrogen is a great fit for flat-out fast fans, especially if a time trial or even a triathlon might be in your plans.
