Pearl’s Escape shorts, which are designed for all-day adventure riding, have an air of luxury. They feel good from the start with a more forgiving fit than race-specific shorts. This is thanks to the smooth Transfer Lycra fabric that offers ample support and breathes well. Raw edge leg grippers with silicone detailing do work well, without being overly compressive, as do the mesh upper bibs. Inside, the Escape 1:1 chamois pad has a floating outer with minimal stitching designed to ride naturally with you. It looks crude but performs well. These are good all-day gravel/adventure shorts but come with a top-shelf price.
