This understated jersey is so soft and light it instantly feels like a second skin, but without feeling tight like some jerseys with a race-specific fit. It combines a perforated breathable fabric on the front with smoother material on the rear to protect from the sun. Combined with the bonded hems and folded-in sleeves it makes for fewer seams and reduces bulk. We also liked the smooth-glide front zip that’s easily operated with one hand. The Lightweight feels delicate but we loaded up its three easyaccess pockets on long rides without issue. Performance is bang on for warm riding but you do pay a premium for this.
